Situated next to KLCC Suria mall, this hotel is in a perfect location for the twin towers, high end shopping, some very fancy bars. They provide an excellent breakfast with a huge variety of local and western options - the Roti station was a highlight! The staff were all great, especially the staff at the main door, very friendly and would go above and beyond in remembering names and when giving directions to places they would walk you out and ensure you started off in the best way possible. The pool is beautiful.

I have visited this hotel several times over the last 20 years and the location is excellent. The price is also pretty competitive especially for the Mandarin brand.

I stayed there for about 10 days in May, and it was exceptional, everything, and the best part was the staff who were always attentive to me throughout my stay. From the first day to the last. Special mention to the manager, Belinda Leong, who greeted me upon arrival at the hotel—a lovely person. The doormen always greeted me and asked how my day was. The Mosaico Restaurant staff, who served the all-you-can-eat buffet, and the lovely Regina, who always gave me tips for visiting the city. Habiba and the entire team helped me. I also want to mention the Concierge team who took me on a trip to Malacca. Special mention to Mr. Rabi, who helped me explore the city. To the pool and spa staff. The hotel was exceptional, luxurious beyond words, better than home. The central location was great for getting to the attractions. I had a room with a breathtaking view of the Petronas Towers; I couldn't stop looking at them. A very nice touch was that they let me check out until 4:00 p.m. They also let me use all the hotel facilities. I would always come back.

My wife’s favourite thing about the hotel was the hair salon: Hair Culture. Her words: “Just to visit Jessica’ salon would be worth going to KL. She gave me a head massage that was as relaxing as a full body massage… Her technique and knowledge was really impressive; I am absolutely in love with my colour and new haircut”

My stay at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the staff provided impeccable service, always polite, attentive, and ready to assist with any request. Their professionalism and warmth truly enhanced the experience. The highlight of my room was undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Petronas Towers. Watching the city skyline light up at night from the comfort of my room was an unforgettable experience. The hotel’s facilities were outstanding clean, well maintained, and designed for both relaxation and convenience. Whether it was the pool, gym, or spa, everything was of the highest standard. Breakfast was a particular standout. The vast selection catered to every craving, with a range of local and international options, all prepared to perfection. Overall, the Mandarin Oriental KL exceeded expectations in every way. It’s the perfect choice for anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and world-class hospitality in the heart of the city. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I LOVED this hotel and certainly saved the best until last. The staff were beyond helpful, friendly, caring and went above and beyond at every opportunity. I appreciated in particular the early check in, the late check out, especially on our last day. Alyssia who checked us in was incredible. The Turn Down attendant Ali was amazing, the boys on the concierge desk and chief of transportation, Aslan all took the trouble to greet us at any opportunity by name. The MO should be incredibly proud of their gold service staff.
